Meet Our Founder.
Brigan Cooper is the founder of Peaceful Resolutions, a locally- and women-owned mediation company created to provide affordable, compassionate conflict resolution services for individuals and families in need. Originally from Camano Island, Washington, Brigan brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal understanding to her work. With a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and a career spent in crisis negotiation and conflict resolution across hospitals, prisons, and law enforcement agencies, she has helped people find common ground in some of the most challenging circumstances.
Brigan’s passion for accessible mediation is deeply personal. During her own divorce, she faced the emotional and financial strain of navigating the legal system without being able to afford an attorney. That experience opened her eyes to how isolating and overwhelming conflict can be—and how urgently accessible support is needed.
With Peaceful Resolutions, Brigan offers a path forward that is affordable, empowering, and rooted in dignity. Her approach is trauma-informed, grounded in empathy, and centered on helping people move through conflict with clarity and respect.
